Project overview
Wodonga is experiencing unprecedented growth. Its population forecast to double by 2060 and the Leneva Valley has been identified as a key area for residential and community development on the city’s rural outskirts.
In 2018, Wodonga City Council and the Victorian Planning Authority finalised the first stage of The Leneva-Baranduda Precinct Structure Plan (PSP) in collaboration with government, service agencies and stakeholders.
The plan provides a framework for sustainable design, integrated water management, and applying ecological and conservation goals to urban development in Leneva-Baranduda.
To support growth in Leneva Valley, new gravity sewers are needed for the initial stages of development.
North East Water is currently tendering for a Principal Contractor to deliver these works.
