Project Overview

We are constructing a new sewer rising main to alleviate capacity restrictions and to allow the developments to occur in the greater Wodonga region.

The alignment of the new rising main will run along Church Street, Reuss Road (Sumsion Gardens), Dick Street, crossing House Creek and into Wodonga Rendering (meat works) then connecting to our sewer pump station no.1 site located at Forrest Mars Avenue (Wodonga).

What to expect during construction

Traffic management will be in place for safety reasons. Construction will be tailored to minimise disruption to traffic flows. It is advised to seek an alternate route and avoid Church Street and Reuss Road where possible. There will, at times, be reduced access to Felix Grundy Park Playground, and surrounding area. Please follow all signage and staff direction.

• Heavy vehicles moving to and from the construction site and on local roads
• Noise from construction activities during certain periods
• Dust may be produced during excavation works
