Project overview
We're replacing an ageing sewer main that runs along the Kiewa Valley Highway from Tawonga to Tawonga South.
A new 3.4-kilometre pipeline will be installed on the highway from Ryders Lane in Tawonga to Marums Lane in Tawonga South, adjacent to the existing bike path.
Construction is expected to start in September 2024 and should be finished by December 2024.
Highway traffic will be reduced to one lane of traffic at times during the works. A traffic management plan will ensure delays are kept to a minimum. There will also be safe and continuous access to the bike path throughout the project.
