Customer and Community Advisory Group

The Customer and Community Advisory Group (CCAG) provides feedback on common topics including:

  • customer issues
  • services and prices
  • major projects
  • customer experience and support
  • environment, climate change and sustainability
  • policies and strategies

Members are expected to participate in four meetings per year (for two years), providing feedback, sharing ideas for solutions, and advocating for the interests of your community.

A key aim of establishing the CCAG is to represent a diversity of viewpoints. Members are selected with a goal of reflecting our region's diverse community. To best facilitate this representation the following criteria have been developed for the evaluation of applications:

  • Active interest as a customer of North East Water and/or established links to community groups
  • Willingness to contribute constructively to the purpose and objectives of the CCAG
  • Ability to work collaboratively and cooperatively with others in a community-based committee
  • Ability to openly and objectively explore concepts and ideas and consider a range of perspectives
  • Ability to meet in-person and online, a minimum of four times per year
  • Currently residing in the North East Water service region.
